Doh!

Mi malo - I thought you could attach word docs to Blogger. It doesn't look like you can; however, there is a "free add-in called Blogger for Word that lets you save a word document as a post to your Blogger blog w/out opening a new browser." The downside is you have to download and install the Blogger for Word add-in.

If you, and anyone else, is absolutely opposed to doing this then we can just e-mail the attachments to each other? You may still have to e-mail Amiee her document so she can make corrections.

The following link goes into more detail about Blogger for Word and has the link to download the add-in.

More Graphics

Hello,

I have uploaded two versions of the "“scrabble pieces"” design to the World Libraries PhotoBucket site as well, the folders are labeled Squares 1 & 2. Thanks for setting up the PhotoBucket account KT! I think it will really help us out having everything accessible in one place.

Graphics

Okay, I've uploaded everything. Sorry it took so long; we've been having wireless problems at home. ComCast came and rewired everything this morning, though, so I think we're set.

Anyway.

I created a PhotoBucket account for this project. To access it, just go to www.photobucket.com. The username is worlib, and so is the password. Once inside, there are 3 folders, one for each of the schemes I've come up with so far. (The Globe scheme, the High-Res version of the Photo scheme, and the Low-Res version thereof.)

I resized everything, and saved as the appropriate file types. If anyone needs my originals for something, let me know.

Comments by the Dean

During class yesterday I mentioned that the dean had added to the end of the comments that were on the left side of the World Libraries page. Here it is, to do whatever you want with; I'm pretty sure that if we decide to omit it entirely she wouldn't be offended, although she would probably appreciate having it there.

"Inasmuch as we encourage the free exchange of information, we welcome articles from around the world. We look forward to hearing from you."-Susan Roman, Dean, GSLIS, Dominican University.

After looking at this though, I wonder if we should just scrap the entire paragraph that is currently there and start over. Just a thought...

Footer

The Footer seems too busy to me. Can some of this information be put elsewhere?
